lightThumb -plugin Joomlalle

Julkaisin juuri äsken Joomla! -sisällönhallintavälineelle pienen pluginin (mambot), jonka tarkoituksena on yksinkertaisesti:

  • Tehdä suurista kuvista thumbnailit (vapaaehtoinen)
  • Tehdä thumbnailista linkki suureen kuvaan (vapaaehtoinen)
  • Näyttää suuri kuva LightBox -efektillä. (vapaaehtoinen)

Pluginin toimintaa voit ihailla demosivuillani.

Pluginin voit tallentaa itsellesi lataamalla lightThumb.zip -tiedoston ja asentamalla sen Joomlan "mambot" -istallerilla.

Plugini löytyy myös Joomlan Extension directorystä.

Päivitetty juuri hakemisto kuville “/”, vanhan “/Joomla” -polun sijaan (demo saitti efekti)
Just updated the image paths to base path “/”, the old value was “/Joomla/” (Demo site efect)

Vau, hienolta näyttää ja hyvin näytti toimivan myös Operassa.

Loisto homma että olit tehnyt myös demosivun tuota varten, kiitokset siitä ja tiedottamisesta.

I love the concept. However, I too am having difficulties getting it to work. I’m using Joomla 1.0.7 and Joomla 1.0.8 on 1.0.8… I get
Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagecreatefromjpeg() in C:\wamp\www\mambots\content\lightThumb\class.img2thumb.inc on line 136
    It’s a development box… so… don’t worry too much about operating from "C:"

    Any thoughts?

    Installation steps:

    1) Install the mambot from mambot installers
    2) publish the mambot and move its position to first
    3) unpublish the mosimage mambot and move its position to latest
    4) edit your template so the lightbox and css are included in head
    5) insert {mosimage} -tags to your content and assign images to your page

    enjoy..

    Hi, Thanks for this bot.

    it works nice.
    Only one question:
How to load the the watrermark.
In the lightbox.js is this line:
    effectimg:’mambots/content/lightThumb/zzoop.gif’,

but you dont implement the gif . OK, i load this sample.gif from the original lightbox-plus Site.
And now? How to load this?
    THX

    KaNiKo:

I didn’t implement the zzoop.gif / watermark anyway, so I didn’t even test it.. One thing is sure, the installer doesn’t have the zzoop.gif in it.. maby download it from the authors site..

Hello and thak for for this nice bot.

I have installed it again v2 but the style is so different from the earlier. I like the simpler style and not the expanding boxes used now, nor the big X at bottom to close, especially liked previous that user could click anywhere and close the new image overlay.

I will rettrograde to the previous

Perhaps you will consider this and make style differences from version to version as ‘options’ web admin can choose.

Many thanks for very nice bot – v1 is best joomla thumnail bot by far.

    Sincerely,
    Tom

    Hello,

This works great. i highly recommend it.

but… I can’t seem to properly align the thumbnails. I try to use the mosimage settings, but to no avail. Text refuses to wrap around it, and it seems to only align to the bottom left. Can someone please help me to solve this issue.

    Thanks!

This works fine, but one question:

If I use the lightthumb and try to validate the page with W3C HTML validator I get the error indicating that I have placed <DIV> inside <P>. Any ideas how to correct?

Error Line 77, column 26: document type does not allow element "div" here; missing one of "object", "applet", "map", "iframe", "button", "ins", "del" start-tag .

    <div class="thumbnailleft"><a rel="lightbox[Curral-das-freias]" title="" href="h

I am using lightthumb together with JCE editor – maybe the combination affects the results as well?

The gallery is fantastic. however, I am very new to this, so please forgive me if this is particularly stupid. I have installed the as per the instructions above. I have unfortunately an error with the tag in head
